The Kasoa Zone recently celebrated its 30th Zonal Ijtema, hosted by the Kasoa Central Circuit. The event was graced by esteemed national AMLA officers, bringing a sense of importance and significance to the gathering.
The Power & Essence of Salat
The theme of the Ijtema was "The Power & Essence of Salat". Muallim Jamaldeen Donkor delivered a powerful keynote speech, urging participants to perform their Salat five times daily and include Tahajjud in their prayers. He emphasized that Allah descends around that time to answer the supplications of His children. He noted that during this time, the blessings of Allah come at a heavily discounted price.

Engineer Ibrahim Arko-Naib Sadr Administration chaired the event, guiding the proceedings with skill and grace. Alhaj Ahmad Mensah, the Greater Accra Regional Qaid who is a recent Hajj pilgrim, shared his experiences from Hajj and linked them to the theme of Salat, adding depth and color to the Ijtema.

Songs of Praise and Personal Stories
As a Kasoa Zonal event, circuits within the zone enhanced the Ijtema with interludes of songs of praise. Nasir Bonsu Sahib, the zonal president and former Sadr of the majlis, shared practical and personalized examples of the benefits of Tahajjud for a practicing Khadim, citing real-life events and experiences.
The event concluded with Zuhr and Asr prayers, leaving participants spiritually enriched and inspired by the teachings and experiences shared throughout the day.
